Science for Democratic Action (SDA) is published four times a year, providing easily accessible scientific information and analysis with a dose of humor. It offers technical data to activists, articles explaining technical issues such as clean-up and disposition options for plutonium, opinion pieces and editorials, and problems for activists to solve so that they can acquire and improve their technical skills.

Modeled in part after SDA is Energy & Security, IEER's global newsletter. It is published in Russian, French, Chinese and Japanese.
